Q: What is your service area?
A: We primarily work in Vancouver, Battle Ground and Camas. However we provide transportation to other areas within Clark and Cowlitz Counties too. Long distance transportation is available upon request.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Our office is available to schedule transportation 8am-7pm M-F. However, we are open Monday through Saturday 5am to 7pm, so if you need to be somewhere after our normal business hours we will be able to transport you. Just be sure to schedule your trip before our office closes at 7pm on Friday.
Q: Do you accept Insurance?
A: We will work with your Workman's Comp and Auto Accident Insurance companies with advanced notice. Please note that most Health Insurance Plans do not cover medical transportation, and you will need to call your Health Insurance Provider to see if they will cover it.
Q: Do you accept Medicare?
A: Medicare does not pay for non-emergency medical transportation. We will NOT bill Medicare under any circumstances.
Q: Do you accept Medicaid?
A: Please note that we cannot bill ProviderOne Insurance. If you are a Medicaid recipient please direct all your transportation questions to the Human Services Council.
How much advanced notice do I need to give for transportation?
A: We ask that you give us 24 to 48 hours notice, but same day service is available when the schedule permits.
Q: Can I ride along with the patient?
A: Of course! We encourage a family member to ride along with the patient. Just let us know in advance if more than one passenger is traveling with the client.
A: My house has stairs. Will you be able to transport me?
Q: If your residence has stairs please call our office with a description and the number of stairs. We will make an assessment and advise you of our ability to handle your particular situation. Additional charges may apply.
Q: Do I need to wait at the curb for my pick up?
A: No! Never! We will always come into your residence, or into your room at a nursing home or the hospital and escort you to our vehicle.
Q: I need oxygen for my trip. Can you provide oxygen?
A: We do not supply or regulate oxygen. If you or your facility will be providing oxygen, then yes we can transport you.
Q: Do I need to be in a wheelchair to use your services?
A: No. We help people with all levels of mobility. If you are a Senior who just needs a ride to an appointment, we can help! We are not a taxi though and cannot accommodate the general public. We only work with seniors and people with disabilities.
